10 Content Prompts to Make Content Planning Easier
The hardest part of content planning is simply brainstorming content. I thought I’d make your life a bit easier this month with 10 content ideas to use for your fashion business!
Stretch these ideas even further by using them on different social platforms or as different content types (Stories, feed posts, blogs, Reels, TikToks, and more).
Highlight your best-selling product/service
Show off what people love the most! For customers that haven’t yet purchased your best-seller, they might be enticed to do so when they learn of its popularity. Be sure to explain why it’s so well-liked.
Share a positive customer review
People want to feel confident in their purchase decisions. Positive reviews can help them confirm that others have had good experiences with your brand, and help potential customers finally hit “Add to Cart.”
Share your newest product/service
Like that Instagram Reel says, “You need to post about your products so people know they exist.” When you launch something new and exciting, let your followers know about it!
Explain why you started your business
Social media for businesses has become increasingly more personal. Customers want to get to know the people behind then brand. Remind them that you’re human by sharing the reason behind your brand, and make sure to emphasize your passion. If you’re excited about your brand and your products, your customers will be, too!
Explain how you started your business
Share your founding story! Again, this will show some personality and allow your customers to better relate to you.
Host a giveaway
This is a great way to get followers engaged. Host a giveaway on your own or make it a collaboration with a complementary brand to gain access to the collaborator’s audience.
Share how you get your inspiration
Another chance to get personal! Explain where and how you get inspiration for your designs or services.
Comment on something in the news or pop culture
Get in on a trend or hot topic by commenting on it in a caption or creating a brand-relevant meme. Remember how big that picture of Kendall and Kim at The Met Gala got for a few days? Use trends like that to your advantage.
Share a holiday-based post (even if it's a silly one!) that's related to your brand
Same idea here. Use holiday-based hashtags to increase your chance of visibility during the holiday’s time frame. Silly holidays (I’m looking at you, Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds Day) can show your brand’s funny and relatable side.
Run a poll
Great for engagement! You can do this on a Story or simply pose a question in your caption and ask your audience to answer in the comments.
