I’m closing in on one month at BaeBlu and freelancing on the side. It’s flown by so far!

While my first two weeks featured some learning curves, I think I’ve really made some progress in Week 3. My supervisor was out Friday and Monday, leaving some of her responsibilities to me. On Friday, I packed and shipped orders with my boss’ supervision, and she told me I graduated to being able to take care of them on my own! Monday, I did orders all by myself.

Some other exciting tidbits from the past week: my first blogs and social posts have gone up for BaeBlu and my client, Activ Intimates! For BaeBlu, I developed a “Get the Look” Halloween piece and posted about it on Facebook and Instagram.

For Activ Intimates, I’ve now written two press releases and a short product piece, and some posts linking to the website went out on their social platforms early on Monday. I spent the last few weeks (and months in Activ’s case) in research and planning, so seeing my posts finally go live is really rewarding.

And, I have to stick in a little about my personal life, because why not? Today, I was the happiest I’ve been in a long time. I was able to be more positive and kind to those around me, and could even feel love more deeply. To me, that says that I’m moving in the right direction. I’m going to keep going.
