My freelancing goals

I think it’s always important to challenge yourself and do things that you’re afraid of (not counting haunted houses; I hate those).

Freelancing has already been challenging, exciting, and rewarding for me, and I’ve only been on the train for a few months. After leaving Modern West Media, I’m ready to take freelancing to the next level and really put my heart into it. With that being said, I thought I should jot down some goals I have in mind for the next few months to a year of freelance work.

  • Make at least a third of my income freelancing.

  • Build a website for a client.

  • Successfully launch a program for one of my clients.

  • Sustainably freelance for three clients.

  • Earn a glowing review from a client.

Along with my ultimate goals, here are some things I’d like to strive to do regularly as I freelance:

  • Market myself well to appeal to potential clients.

  • Remain organized and stay on top of my projects.

  • Be professional without losing myself in the process.

I’m really looking forward to my future as a freelancer. It’s been great enough already, but I have a feeling that the best is yet to come.
