Combat low sales with this question
Would you buy from you?
If your sales are low, try looking at your brand's online presence from a customer's point of view. Based on whatever digital content you put out there, if you were a customer, would YOU buy from your brand?
If you answered "no", think about:
Why you wouldn't buy. Is your brand messaging confusing? Is your product/service unclear? Do customers know where to shop?
What would make you add to cart. If your brand messaging is unclear, return to your marketing plan and brand image to ensure your digital strategy reflects them. If your product/service is unclear, start educating your customers on exactly what you offer. If they might not know where to shop, use specific and defined CTAs (i.e. “click the link in our bio to shop on our website” rather than “shop now”).
Once you've gathered some ideas, schedule some test posts based on your findings. If they perform well, implement the ideas into your digital strategy and see if your sales improve. As they say, it takes change to see change!
