New (awesome) features on Facebook Business Suite

Facebook Business Suite just stepped up its game! Here’s why it might be your new best friend for post scheduling.

You can now use Business Suite to…

Schedule and Post Stories

You can now schedule Stories to post automatically to Facebook and Instagram and even post Stories from your desktop. This is huge. Previously, the only way to schedule Stories was on social media management platforms, and even then, they wouldn't post automatically. Now, you can use Facebook Business Suite to create and schedule stories! This is about to make planning your stories SO much easier.

View weekly and monthly calendars

Appealing to the visual learners like myself, Business Suite has launched weekly and monthly calendar views of your scheduled posts for Facebook and Instagram. I find it so much easier to visualize my upcoming posts when I see them in calendar form! For the analytical minds, they still offer the list view as well.

Write individual captions for Facebook and Instagram

Before, if you wanted to customize your captions for Facebook and Instagram, you'd have to create the posts and then go back to edit them. Now, you can write individual captions for each platform as you schedule! I’ve been using this feature to include links on Facebook that I don’t want on Instagram, and hashtags on Instagram that don’t belong on Facebook.

View your Instagram feed

While this is a new feature, it isn’t my favorite, and here’s why. Scheduling programs show you what your feed will look like based on your scheduled posts, while the Business Suite feed just shows your feed as it stands, and only shows standard feed posts—no Reels. I’m hoping they’ll make some updates and fix this!

Takeaways

I’ve been waiting on a new-and-improved Business Suite for a long time, and I’m thrilled that it’s finally coming to fruition! What features are you hoping they roll out next?
