The power of off days
For the past few weeks, I’ve been working less hours each day, but every day of the week. I thought I felt fine doing so, until I took the weekend off to go camping up north.
I took Saturday completely off, and spent most of Sunday relaxing, too. The cool thing? When I went back to work on Monday, I felt so refreshed and motivated. When I mentioned it to my boyfriend, he felt the same. Taking that time to ourselves to switch up our scenery, get out in nature, and just recharge as a family worked wonders. Working every day, I forgot how much good days off can do.
So, long story short, schedule in some free time for yourself. You might not even know you need it… but you do.
